The Marigny-Marmande Truffle Markets: a gastronomic tradition in Touraine

Located in the Indre-et-Loire department, the village of Marigny-Marmande hosts traditional markets dedicated to truffles, one of the most prestigious products of French gastronomy.

During the winter season, these markets offer food lovers the opportunity to discover truffles presented by local producers and learn more about this exceptional ingredient.

They are also a wonderful opportunity to meet producers directly and explore the expertise involved in truffle cultivation.

For Maison G & C RABY, taking part in these events perfectly reflects our philosophy: celebrating regional products, preserving traditional expertise and encouraging direct exchanges between producers and consumers.

Truffles and Grande Champagne Cognac: two expressions of French terroir

Truffles and Grande Champagne Cognac share something essential: their identity is deeply connected to their terroir and the expertise of the people who produce them.

Truffles are renowned for their complex aromas and their important place in French gastronomy.

Grande Champagne Cognac, meanwhile, is celebrated for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie, their aromatic richness and their remarkable ageing potential.

Both products invite us to take the time to appreciate their unique characteristics and understand the traditions behind their production.

Our presence at the Marigny-Marmande Truffle Markets is therefore an opportunity to share our passion for Cognac while taking part in an event dedicated to another iconic product of French gastronomic heritage.

Explore the different aromatic profiles of our Cognacs

The Marigny-Marmande Truffle Markets will also be an opportunity to discover the aromatic diversity of Grande Champagne Cognacs.

From VS to EXTRA, our range showcases different expressions of oak barrel ageing.

Our VS and VSOP Cognacs offer an introduction to younger eaux-de-vie, while our XO and EXTRA expressions reveal the complexity that can develop through extended ageing.

At our stand, we will take the time to explain the characteristics of each Cognac and guide you through the tasting experience.

Whether you are a Cognac enthusiast or simply curious, these conversations will help you better understand the different stages of Cognac production and the unique characteristics of the Grande Champagne terroir.
