A journey through the terroirs and flavours of France
The Village des Producteurs des Sites Remarquables du Goût is a special opportunity to discover the diversity of France’s gastronomic heritage.
Over three days, producers from across France will showcase products and specialities that reflect the identity of their regions.
Billom pink and black garlic, cheeses, chestnuts, lentils, saffron, seafood products, charcuterie, wines, Champagne, Cognac, Armagnac and truffles are among the many products that will take visitors on a gastronomic journey across France.
Tasting areas will also offer visitors the opportunity to discover the products and talk directly with the people who make them.
This philosophy closely reflects that of Maison G & C RABY: introducing a product through its terroir, its history and the people behind it.
Grande Champagne among the Sites Remarquables du Goût
Our presence in Billom is also an opportunity to introduce visitors to one of the most renowned terroirs of the Cognac appellation: Grande Champagne.
As the Premier Cru of Cognac, Grande Champagne is renowned for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie and their remarkable ageing potential.
Our family has cultivated its vineyards in Segonzac since 1884 and continues to preserve expertise passed down through generations.
Taking part in the Producers’ Village therefore has a special meaning for our Maison: behind every bottle lies a terroir, vineyards, craftsmanship and a family history that we are delighted to share directly with visitors.
Taste our products and discover our expertise
Whether you are already a Cognac enthusiast or simply curious to learn more about this iconic French spirit, our presence in Billom will be a great opportunity to meet our team.
You will be able to explore the differences between our VS, VSOP, XO and EXTRA Cognacs and learn more about how ageing influences their aromatic profiles.
We will also introduce you to our Pineau des Charentes, wines and range of craft liqueurs.
Beyond the tasting itself, our team will be happy to answer your questions about Grande Champagne, traditional Charentais double distillation, the ageing of our eaux-de-vie in oak barrels and the work carried out throughout the year in our vineyards.
These conversations are an opportunity to discover Cognac from another perspective: not simply as a spirit, but as the result of a terroir, agricultural work and expertise passed down from one generation to the next.
A family-run Grande Champagne estate since 1884
Since 1884, the RABY family has cultivated its own vineyards in Segonzac, in the heart of Grande Champagne.
Today, the fifth generation continues the family’s expertise and a history deeply connected to vineyards and Cognac.
Our Maison oversees the different stages of production, from vineyard to bottle, with the aim of preserving our identity as an independent family-run estate deeply rooted in its terroir.
The Village des Producteurs des Sites Remarquables du Goût is particularly well aligned with this philosophy, as the event places producers, their regions and their traditional expertise at its heart.
Prepare for the festive season with G & C RABY
Taking place at the beginning of December, the Billom Producers’ Village is also a great opportunity to prepare for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Grande Champagne Cognac, Pineau des Charentes, wines or liqueurs: our range offers a selection of bottles to enjoy during the festive season or give as gifts.
Our team will be available at the stand to help you select products according to your tastes or those of the person you would like to surprise.
Choosing a bottle directly from a producer also means discovering its origin, understanding how it was made and learning about the people and history behind the product.
